Lismore area today is host to three main aikido styles they include Great Ocean Aikido in Alstonville (Aikido Alstonville), the Lismore Kokikai and Lismore Aikikai (of Aikikai Australia).

Together with Byron Bay and Ballina there is a kind of triangle of Aikido, we would like to think Alstonville is kinda equidistant from them all.
