Aikido Alstonville is Jim Nicholls Sensei’s aikido dojo in the back hills of the Northern Rivers.

Alstonville is uniquely positioned in the Northern Rivers district with easy access to Byron Bay, Lismore and Ballina, with the entire corridor made easy by the highway bypass we all love to hate.

Alstonville Aikido is based in the Alstonville Leisure and Entertainment Centre, sharing the terrific facilities with a gymnastics club and a number of other activities. Alstonville is close enough to the high yet far enough away from the hype and bustle of the costal tourist traps to be a world away from it all. The rolling hills and farms upon them remind us of the country sides of England together with the village like pace of Alstonville. Semi retired folk and tree changers alike provide that life that reminds us of yesteryear
